I Can't Keep Calm...I'm Getting Married!

The time has finally come to marry my best friend, the love of my life!!! It's been such a crazy journey and it all feels so surreal. In this moment I feel excited and overwhelmed with joy. I will likely be a puddle on the ground when I see Rob for the first time. 
I will be taking a small break from blogging to enjoy these last fleeting moments leading up to my wedding day, but I will be back as a *MRS* very, very soon. Wild Heart Lace Crop Top Set

It all started with these floral pumps from Macy's Backstage...I was browsing for a fun Bachelorette outfit a few months ago and to my surprise, had such a hard time finding an outfit to suit the evening. I wanted something that felt fun & flirty, but I didn't want to wear the typical "for love and lemons" dress that is ever-so-popular. When I received these floral heels I immediately knew it would set the tone for the rest of my outfit. I wanted to show a little skin and so when I stumbled upon this gorgeous lace crop & skirt from Tobi I knew it would be the perfect combo for the evening. 

This crop set featured just the right amount of feminine details + funk, which is exactly what I was looking for. I was able to dance the night away with my best friends and I felt so comfortable in it.

Summery Floral Ball Skirt

Summer is upon us and with that comes special events, cocktail parties, and weddings. There's always lots of fun activities that fill up our schedules for day and night. These events can creep up quickly so it's important to have a few go-to formal pieces in your closet. For this outfit, I wanted to highlight the versatility of an elegant skirt and off-the-shoulder top. This floral ball gown skirt by Eliza J can be completely dressed up with a romantic top, accessories, and heels. Just add a touch of lipstick and you're ready for your next black-tie wedding or formal event. Tobi Skater Dress

I'm finally sharing a few pictures from my trip to Charleston last month! On our first day in town we took a tour of Boone Hall Plantation, one of the oldest working, living plantations. They currently produce strawberries, tomatoes, pumpkins, and many other fruits and vegetables. The plantation was founded in 1681and spans 738 acres. The property is incredibly beautiful and I can't wait to share all the special moments Ava Moore Photography captured. Stay tuned :).

This simple white skater dress from Tobi was perfect for exploring the plantation. For this outfit, I wanted to let the t-back details do all the talking so I kept the jewelry at a minimum. There's something so chic and elevated about a minimalistic all white look, and nothing screams summer more than beautiful cutouts that show off a tan!
