Wedding Style With Hipknoties

Wedding season is in full swing and if you are like me, choosing the right dress is always a struggle. I often run through the same questions in my head each time- will I look too formal? Is my dress too boring? Am I too casual? What color are the bridesmaids wearing? Is my dress going to match the table settings? But seriously! The goal for wedding style (as a guest) is to wear a stylish, yet appropriate outfit. That's where Hipknoties comes in. Hipknoties is a versatile garment that can be worn in a multitude of ways. You can wear it as a halter top to one event and then re-style it for the next occasion! By just looking at it, I can think of 10 outfit ideas! What I love the most about Hipknoties is the flexibility of the fabric. It's soft, comfortable, and can be easily dressed up with accessories and a fab pair of pumps. You can choose the color you want based off of your preferences and it comes in three lengths- mini, midi and maxi (the midi length is my personal favorite).

To create a unique wedding look, use the rubber ties that come with the Hipknoties to shape the fabric. For this outfit, I pulled the Hipknoties into two sections and then secured the pieces loosely around my neck to create a faux halter neckline. To dress up the look for a special occasion, I paired a multi-layered gold chain necklace over the Hipknoties.

Something Extra: Wedding hair inspiration! I typically love messy updos or buns for weddings, but lately I have been crushing on the fishtail braid. I was in my best friend's wedding over the past weekend and I wanted to try something different. After speaking with the hair stylist, we decided to go  with an elegant side-swept fishtail braid. The look was tucked tightly to the side and then loosely pulled out at the center. It was such a comfortable hairstyle and I didn't have to worry about my curls falling out by the end of the night (which is always a concern when there's dancing involved)! I highly recommend trying out the fishtail braid for your next special occasion.
